The Audi Q6 e-tron
Audi's iconic slogan, Vorsprung durch Technik, or “Progress through Technology”, has never been more fitting than with the debut of the all-new Audi Q6 e-tron. Positioned as the next milestone in Audi's electrified future, the Q6 e-tron combines innovative design, cutting-edge performance, and intelligent technology to set a new standard for premium electric SUVs.
The Q6 e-tron slots neatly between the smaller Q4 e-tron and the larger Q8 e-tron. Dimensionally, it's close to the ever-popular Audi Q5, making it an appealing choice for drivers who want Q5 practicality with an all-electric edge. Its sleek design is further elevated with Audi's new digital daytime running lights, offering six customizable light signatures for a truly distinctive look. Multiple wheel designs are also available, though wheel choice plays a role in the vehicle's overall driving range.
Both the Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron are powered by a next-generation 94.4 kWh battery pack that features a new chemistry composition that gives the SUV a 20% improvement in energy density. With the 19” wheel option, the Q6 e-tron has an estimated range of up to 494 km. The upcoming Sportback version increases that number to 513 km. But if you option the Q6 e-tron with 20” wheels, then the driving ranges drop to 475 km & 491 km respectively.
Where the SQ6 shines is power. With its 509 hp dual-motor e-quattro powertrain, it rockets from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds using launch control. The standard Q6 e-tron is still potent, delivering up to 456 hp and standard e-quattro all-wheel drive for confident handling in all conditions.
Recharging won't keep you waiting long. Thanks to its 800-Volt electric architecture, the Q6 e-tron supports DC fast charging at up to 270 kW. That means you can charge from 10% to 80% in just about 20 minutes. Thoughtful design details, like charge ports on both sides of the vehicle, make plugging in even more convenient.
Inside, the Q6 e-tron is a showcase of Audi's most advanced technologies. The Audi virtual cockpit plus takes center stage, combining an 11.9” driver display and a 14.5” MMI touchscreen under a seamless curved glass panel. Passengers can also opt for a 10.9” display with privacy mode, ensuring the driver isn't distracted.
This SUV is also the first Audi to feature the Android Auto OS, bringing popular apps like YouTube directly into the infotainment system — no smartphone required. The enhanced e-tron route planner optimizes charging stops on longer trips, while the improved voice assistant can recognize up to 800 commands, making everyday driving more intuitive.
The Audi Q6 e-tron starts at $80,445, while the high-performance SQ6 e-tron begins at $95,595. Both models are available now at EVFinder.
